Class A Fitter/Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled Class A Fitter/Welder with a minimum of 3 years of experience in fitting and welding within a manufacturing environment or equivalent training. The position requires proficiency in MIG, Flux-core, and TIG welding techniques, and the ability to pass a 3G MIG/Flux-core plate test and a 6G TIG pipe test. Responsibilities Perform fitting and welding tasks according to blueprints and specifications. Utilize MIG, Flux-core, and TIG welding techniques to fabricate and assemble structural steel components. Ensure all welding work meets quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Essential Skills Minimum 3 years of experience in fitting and welding within a manufacturing setting or equivalent training. Proficiency in MIG, Flux-core, and TIG welding techniques. Ability to pass a 3G MIG/Flux-core plate test and a 6G TIG pipe test. Strong understanding of blueprints and structural steel fabrication. Work Environment Work in a manufacturing facility on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 5am to 3:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Collinsville, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
