Contribute to the production of heat transfer equipment, air exchangers, frames, and structural beams by performing high-quality welds. Analyze shop drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure accurate project execution. Help maintain a safe and efficient workplace by operating forklifts and overhead cranes to transport materials. Utilize grinders, cutting tools, and welding gear to prepare components and finalize assemblies. Verify that all finished welds meet strict quality standards and project specifications. Ensure structural integrity by measuring, aligning, and tacking parts before the final weld process. Support the team in maintaining a secure workspace by strictly adhering to OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols. Collaborate with the production crew to ensure all output goals and quality benchmarks are met. Professional Requirements Background in manufacturing, fabrication, or structural welding roles. Skilled in the application of FCAW and GMAW welding methods. Capable of interpreting complex welding symbols and technical blueprints. Prior experience with forklift and overhead crane operation is advantageous. Proficient in the safe handling of fabrication tools, torches, and power grinders. Demonstrate a high level of precision to ensure superior workmanship on every project. Capable of performing physical tasks in an industrial setting, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Possession of welding certifications is beneficial but not strictly mandatory. Operational Setting Work takes place within a fabrication and manufacturing facility.
