Full Job Description Class B Fitter Welder Pay:

$33

•34 per hour,

DOE Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30

PM Overtime:

Friday and Saturday as needed, 6:00 AM-2:15 PM Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Class B Fitter Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position involves welding and fitting waste heat recovery equipment designed and built to ASME Code, including pressure vessels, boilers, steam drums, economizers, and superheaters. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of manufacturing welding experience and be proficient in multiple welding processes and positions. Required Weld Tests Candidates must be able to successfully pass: 6" Schedule 80

Stringer / Hot Pass, SMAW Fill & Cap 3

G FCAW:

1/2" Plate Test Responsibilities Perform welding in all positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead Weld using FCAW (Flux Core), SMAW (Stick), GTAW (TIG), and/or SAW (Submerged Arc) Weld a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, including: Carbon steel Stainless steel Chrome alloys Nickel alloys Perform welding that meets ASME Code, company, and customer requirements Successfully pass X-ray and other non-destructive testing (NDT) Read and understand fabrication drawings, welding procedures, and specifications Use carbon arc gouging and cutting torches proficiently Perform fitting and fabrication duties as required Perform additional shop labor tasks as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment Qualifications 5+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment Strong experience with FCAW and SMAW Experience with GTAW and/or SAW Ability to weld in all positions Ability to read and understand drawings and welding procedures Proficient with carbon arc gouging and cutting torch Experience welding carbon, stainless, chrome, and nickel alloys Ability to meet ASME Code and quality requirements Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Products & Equipment The company manufactures ASME Code waste heat recovery and process gas equipment, including: Firetube boilers Watertube boilers Steam drums Economizers Superheaters Pressure vessels How to Apply Apply online at HireCall.com or visit one of our offices.
