Job Overview Tulsa manufacturing company seeking a motivated and skilled Fitter to join our team on the Day Shift. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and maintaining metal components and structures with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in welding, machining, and mechanical assembly will ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards. 00 (Based on experience) Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble components Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including
MIG, TIG, FCAW
), and plasma cutters to fabricate and assemble metal parts Perform welding operations adhering to ASME codes & standards, ensuring strong and durable joints Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to maintain quality standards Operate fabrication machinery such as press brake machines and pipe threading equipment for custom fabrication tasks Conduct rigging, assembly, and installation of ductwork, piping, or structural components on-site or in the workshop Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to construction site work, crane operation, forklift use, and power tools Requirements Proven construction site experience with knowledge of safety procedures and site protocols Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), <
LOCATION
> welding techniques, with the ability to produce high-quality welds Experience working with sheet metal fabrication, ductwork assembly, and plasma cutting processes Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and schematics for measurement and assembly tasks Mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, machining operations, soldering, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Familiarity with ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication projects Valid forklift certification is preferred; experience operating cranes is a plus Strong understanding of construction practices related to manufacturing or building infrastructure Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Must pass drug screen & background check Interested?
