Strucutural Welder HireCall - 3.9 Tulsa, OK Job Details 21 hours ago Qualifications Blueprint specification interpretation Mechanical fabrication Cutting Steel construction materials Construction plans Gas metal arc welding Flux-cored welding Full Job Description Structural Welder / Fitter - Tulsa Area We are seeking an experienced Structural Welder/Fitter with strong blueprint reading, layout, fitting, and fabrication skills. This position requires someone who can work independently from prints, accurately prepare materials, and complete MIG/Flux Core welding on structural components. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication prints. Lay out all required measurements and specifications according to prints. Measure, cut, and prepare materials accurately for fabrication and welding. Fit and weld structural skids and other steel components. Perform MIG and Flux Core welding. Work with steel siding and R-panel materials as needed. Identify fabrication or fit-up issues and problem-solve as needed. Make adjustments or modifications as required throughout the fabrication process. Maintain quality and accuracy throughout fitting, fabrication, and welding. Requirements 3-5 years of relevant welding/fabrication experience preferred. Must be able to independently read prints and perform layout work. Must be able to pass a 3G Plate Test - MIG/Flux Core combination weld on 3/4" plate without run-off tabs. Strong structural fitting and fabrication experience required. Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, and weld materials. Must be flexible and able to make changes as needed. Strong problem-solving skills. Previous experience building house packages and/or steel buildings is highly preferred. Looking for an experienced welder/fitter with hands-on industry experience rather than an entry-level candidate directly out of welding school. Schedule Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM-1:30 PM Hours may fluctuate based on shipping times.
