Job Overview Seeking a Pipe Welder/Fabricator to fabricate, fit, assemble, and weld piping and structural components in a manufacturing environment. This role requires blueprint interpretation, precision welding, and adherence to quality standards. Key Responsibilities Layout, fit, assemble, and weld pipe and structural components. Perform TIG (GTAW), arc, submerged arc, and other welding processes. Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Inspect, repair, and rework welds and assemblies as needed. Complete final assembly of piping systems and fabricated components.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED. 3+ years of welding and fabrication experience. Experience with TIG welding, pipe fitting, and blueprint reading. Ability to perform vertical and overhead welds. Ability to qualify for ASME code welding requirements. Experience using hand and power tools in a fabrication environment.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Technical school or welding certification. Ability to weld in the 6G position. Experience with spool piping, instrumentation piping, or vacuum-jacketed piping. Familiarity with ASME welding codes and standards.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 45.0 per week
