Job Description
We have an immediate need for 2nd shift pipe welders and a leadman in fabrication shop in Blythewood, SC. Standard hours will be (5-10's) 4:00pm-2:30pm for 2nd with optional Saturdays. Training will be on days (6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday) for roughly the first two months. Welders and leadman will be required to pass the following: Weld testing requirements: Four (4) side bends per test
TIG:
6G-2" XXH- 3-hour max
- no grinding after fit up inspection
GMAW:
3G- 3/8" plate
- 2-hour maximum
- grinding of tie-ins and high spots is allowed, though any individual area of grinding beyond approximately 1" is not acceptable GMAW‑
STT:
Root (vertical down) GMAW‑P:
Fill and cap (vertical up)NO PER DIEM PAID FOR THIS ROLE.
