MIG/TIG Welder 1st Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our client's team in Spartanburg, SC. The ideal candidate will have experience reading and interpreting drawings, performing MIG and TIG welding, and fabricating and assembling metal components. This is a direct hire position that involves working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to produce high-quality sheet metal parts and structural weldments according to project specifications. Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to determine fabrication requirements. Perform various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, to fabricate sheet metal parts and structural weldments. Build, fit, and assemble metal components according to design specifications. Work with a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Ensure welding and fabrication work complies with applicable industry codes, standards, and quality requirements. Inspect completed work to verify accuracy, quality, strength, and durability. Identify and correct welding or fabrication issues as needed. Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in good working condition. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Previous welding and fabrication experience preferred. Ability to read and understand drawings and project specifications. Experience with MIG and TIG welding. Ability to weld and fabricate carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Commitment to workplace safety. Pay:
$24.00-$34.00 per hour, based on experience and skillSchedule:
