$1500•Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This position involves working on construction sites and in manufacturing environments, where you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures according to specifications and blueprints. Duties Perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards throughout the welding process. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Operate forklifts as necessary for material handling and equipment movement. Perform quality checks using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in fabrication work. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on welding and fabrication. Proficiency in
MIG, TIG, FCAW
welding techniques with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively. Experience with machining, soldering, ductwork assembly, and other related fabrication processes is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
