Job Title:
Steel/Aluminum Welder Job Description As a Tig Welder specializing in Aluminum, you will weld and finish metal components using welding and grinding techniques to meet quality and project specifications. You will be an essential part of our professional and customer-centric team. Responsibilities Perform Tig welding on aluminum and steel components. Finish metal components using angle grinders and other finishing tools. Operate cold saws, band saws, pipe-notchers, and grinders. Utilize welding torches and various hand tools. Read and interpret blueprints and other project documentation. Essential Skills Proficiency in Tig welding of aluminum and steel. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, tool-box shop talks, safety procedures, operator's manuals, and maintenance instructions. Experience using tape measures and hand tools. Knowledge of various tools for fabrication and layout. Basic math and geometry skills. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing schedule and switch between different jobs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with fabricator welder and sheet metal. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions. Why Work Here? You must wear steel-toed boots and a welding shield while working. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hanover, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
