9599209-44503 Job Description Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging, dynamic school setting near Youngstown, OH. This opportunity is available to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFY), as on-site supervision and mentorship are provided, ensuring you can grow in your practice while making a difference. Enjoy a balanced schedulework four days on-site with the flexibility of one remote day each week. The school welcomes your preferred areas of focus, and the caseload will be determined with your input, so your expertise and interests are incorporated into your experience. This contract runs from September 1 to June 4, ideal for those seeking a meaningful academic-year position.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Ohio Experience or strong interest in school-based and pediatric populations Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and implement therapy for a diverse K-12 student population Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies Engage in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment Participate in professional development as needed
