Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Perform MIG welding on various metal components and structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding specifications
  • Set up welding equipment and ensure proper settings for each project
  • Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
  • Use hand and power tools to prepare materials for welding, such as grinding or cutting
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding techniques
  • Proficiency in plasma cutting, sheet metal fabrication, and pipe threading
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Skilled in using welding equipment, including MIG welders, torches, and grinders
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Ability to operate a crane or other lifting equipment is a plus
