Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic fabrication and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality welding operations across various projects, including pipefitting, structural fabrication, and system installation. Your expertise will ensure that all welds meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Responsibilities Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), Stick, and TIG welding techniques to join metals according to detailed blueprints and schematics. Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, schematics, and pipefitting diagrams to accurately execute welding tasks. Fabricate components by cutting, bending, assembling, and welding pipes, tubes, and structural elements using hand tools and power tools. Install piping systems including plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, pipeline networks, and pipe installation in accordance with NFPA standards and ASME codes. Conduct pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and pipe welding to ensure secure connections that meet safety and quality standards. Follow safety regulations rigorously by adhering to safety protocol guidelines for construction sites and manufacturing facilities; operate power tools safely. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspection reports, and compliance documentation related to welding procedures and safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in welding across construction or manufacturing environments with knowledge of MIG welding, FCAW, Stick welding, and TIG welding processes. Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools such as calipers, pipe wrenches, screwdrivers, and power tools. Familiarity with pipe threading machines, tube bending equipment, rigging techniques, and pipefitting procedures. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks; understanding of ASME codes & standards is a plus. Experience with plumbing systems installation including soldering techniques; knowledge of NFPA standards for fire sprinkler fitting is desirable. Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocol adherence; ability to interpret technical drawings for assembly or maintenance projects.
