Tasks:

Fit up and tack weld tubes, flanges, base plates and attachments to drawing Set and check gaps, alignment, squareness and overall geometry Build and use fixtures, jigs and templates Rig and position large sections with overhead cranes Prep joints, correct distortion and present work at quality hold points

Profile:

2+ years of structural fit-up or assembly in heavy fabrication Strong blueprint reading (weld symbols included), competent tack welding (FCAW/GMAW) and solid shop math High school diploma or GED Nice to have:
