Job duties include:
Primarily will be in the shop but will go out into the field as needed Perform welding operations according to approved WPS and applicable welding codes Perform SMAW and GMAW welding on code vessels and piping Measure, cut, fit, and assemble stainless steel parts prior to welding Ensure welds meet quality, strength, and appearance standards Inspect finished welds and make corrections as needed Weld using processes such as
SMAW, GTAW
(Tig), GMAW (Mig), and/or FCAW Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting components Maintain weld quality to meet visual, radiographic, and ultrasonic inspection standards Operate welding and related equipment safely and efficiently Document welds and maintain required quality and inspection records Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and job-site protocols Work with inspectors and supervisors to resolve weld issues or repairs
Requirements:
