This role involves working primarily on construction sites, fabricating and assembling metal structures and components while ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications. Responsibilities Operate welding equipment to perform Stick welding and soldering tasks on various materials. Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials according to specifications. Utilize power tools effectively for tasks such as pipe threading and rigging. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment. Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Experience Proven experience in welding, particularly with Stick welding techniques. Familiarity with pipe threading and mechanical assembly in a construction site setting. Proficient in the use of power tools and equipment related to fabrication and welding tasks. Strong attention to detail with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is preferred.
