Job Overview We are seeking skilled and motivated Welders/Fabricators and Fitters to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure the quality and safety of structural and mechanical assemblies, supporting various projects across manufacturing facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse materials, including sheet metal, ductwork, and piping, utilizing a range of welding techniques and fabrication tools. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble components. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) is a plus Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts. Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure proper fit and alignment. Fabricate ductwork, pipe systems, sheet metal structures, and mechanical assemblies in accordance with ASME codes & standards. Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely during material handling and installation processes. Read schematics and technical drawings to guide fabrication work; apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Assist with pipe threading, soldering, assembly of mechanical components, and quality inspections to meet project specifications. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Experience Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication. Hands-on experience with MIG welding Knowledge of blueprint reading Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices. Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, assembly processes, and machining operations.
