This role involves operating welding equipment, shop tools, and occasionally programming or running robotic welding machines, with FANUC experience highly preferred. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and skilled in both manual and robotic welding techniques, ensuring high-quality fabrication and job completion.

Responsibilities:

Perform precision TIG and MIG welding on sheet metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. Lay out, fit, tack, and assemble metal parts using proper tools, machinery, and welding equipment. Operate and maintain welding tools, shop machines, and occasionally program or run robotic welders (FANUC experience preferred). Inspect work for accuracy, maintain production documentation, and ensure compliance with all safety and HSE policies Support team workflow and complete assigned tasks efficiently in a manufacturing environment, including occasional overtime.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of welding education and 6+ years of welding experience. 5+ years of TIG welding experience on sheet metal and 2-4 years of MIG/TIG welding on thin materials. Ability to read blueprints, follow written instructions, and apply knowledge of metal properties, geometry, and welding techniques. Experience programming or operating robotic welding machines (FANUC highly preferred but not required).
