Job SummaryPronto Staffing is hiring a Welder to join a growing team in Decatur. You will prepare materials, perform welds, and finish metal parts according to work orders and blueprints. This position requires hands-on welding experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe work practices. Responsibilities Prepare metal parts, perform welding, and finish welds according to product drawings Perform GMAW, MIG, and TIG welding on steel and carbon metals Use manual and power tools to grind and finish metal surfaces Read blueprints and technical instructions to complete daily tasks Help in other departments as needed to support production tasks Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Must be at least 18 years of age At least 6 months of GMAW job experience or training Strong skills in MIG, TIG, or GMAW welding techniques Ability to read blueprints and drawings Must pass a weld test prior to hire Must pass a visual acuity test and blueprint reading test within 30 days of hire English language proficiency Reliable attendance and ability to work weekday and weekend overtime as needed Work Environment Stand and walk for 8 to 12 hours per day Lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs frequently Work in a non-climate-controlled, noisy manufacturing facility Perform physical tasks such as kneeling, squatting, bending, stooping, and reaching overhead Steel toe boots are required Benefits Health benefits available after 30 days, including free healthcare options for employees 401(k) matching after 30 days Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Skill-based pay increases available after 90 days Monthly bonus opportunities and monthly catered luncheons Advancement opportunities Apply TodayApply today with Pronto Staffing for immediate consideration.
