Job SummaryPronto Staffing is hiring a Welder for a full-time, temp-to-hire position in the Decatur area. In this role, you will prepare parts, weld metal pieces together, and finish welds according to design plans. This is a great opportunity for an experienced welder looking for steady second-shift work and competitive benefits. Responsibilities Prepare metals, weld parts, and finish products according to plans and specifications Perform MIG, TIG, and GMAW welding on steel and carbon materials Use manual and power tools to grind and clean welds Read and follow blueprints to ensure accurate assembly Assist other team members and departments as needed Requirements At least 6 months of GMAW welding experience or formal training High School Diploma or GED Ability to read blueprints and pass a hands-on welding test prior to job offer Ability to pass visual acuity and blueprint reading tests within 30 days of hire Must speak and understand English Steel-toe boots required Work Environment Stand and walk for 8 to 12 hours per day Lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs Work in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment Bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and reach overhead regularly Benefits Health benefits starting after 30 days (including free healthcare options) 401(k) matching after 30 days Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Potential skill-based pay increases after 90 days Monthly bonus opportunities and catered luncheons Room for career advancement Apply TodayApply today with Pronto Staffing for immediate consideration.Benefits
