Key Responsibilities:

Execute TIG welding on various metals with a focus on producing clean and polished welds. Interpret and follow blueprints and engineering plans to meet design specifications. Precisely measure, cut, and align materials prior to welding. Ensure consistent quality of fabrication and welding processes. Conduct regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting of welding equipment. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in the workshop. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in TIG welding, with a portfolio or evidence of previous work. Ability to weld in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead). Strong understanding of metallurgy and different welding techniques. Capability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Completion of a welding apprenticeship or relevant welding certifications preferred. Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy equipment and work in various positions.
