Temp to hire positions with benefits from day one! MIg Welders will perform a variety of welding, brazing and cutting techniques using gas and electric welding equipment while observing safety regulations. Available Shifts (MUST

4:00A.M.-2:30P.M. Monday-Thursday (OT on Fridays/Saturdays) $23.37/hr. 2nd shift 2:30 pm-1am Monday-Thursday $23.97/ hourMig Welder Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives instructions for job from area supervisor or lead man. Fabricates parts by welding various parts as required by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded, sets up, assembles and welds parts Maintains a clean and orderly work area Ability to lift 50 pounds at a reasonable rate in a normal day Must meet or exceed production standards Ability to work without close supervision Must be able to work scheduled shift as well as overtime & weekends as requiredMig Welder Qualifications:
Ability to pass company entry level welding and tape tests Must be able to understand verbal and written orders Must be able to weld a bead visually acceptable on roll form beams Must be able to count and sort products Must be able to read all blue prints and weld symbols Must be able to complete inventory tickets Must be able to set up welding machines Must have manual dexterity skills As a welder you will be in a production environment, welding for 10-11 hours per day. Welders will be using hand tools, and other devices to ensure production is being met daily. Must have 2 years of MIG welding experience. You must have your own welding equipment ie: hood, gloves, steel toed boots, safety glasses, and any other tools you wish to do the job with. Must be able to work scheduled shift as well as overtime & weekends as required Weld test will consist of the following: Reading Blueprints and Symbols - A MUST Reading Tape measure parts identification fillet quality ability to follow written/verbal instruction It's a MIG fillet weld test. Take a 2g is flat and a 3g downhill with a 0.35 hardwire. Welding structure steel and fillet weld (Tee Joints). The two places are 1/8 thickness to set the welder machine before they try to weld on the test: The C channel is 3-1/6 thick, The two angels are 1/8 thick, The baseplate is 1/4 or 3/8 thick Education and/or experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
