Pay Rate:
Up To $20-28/hr : TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Welder with minimum 2 years of experience. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, follow engineered drawings, pass
MIG/ TIG
welding test, operate a forklift, and review work for accuracy. Must be able to lift 40 lbs and work in a non-climate controlled environment.
Attire:
work pants/steel toe boots Manager Feedback - Welder Position (TruBlu HR Solutions) The department works almost exclusively with sheet metal aluminum, typically .090" to 3/16", primarily used for enclosures.
Candidates must:
Have a minimum of 2 years of welding experience
Be able to read and understand blueprints
Follow engineered drawings
Pass MIG and TIG weld tests
Operate a forklift
Review work for accuracy
Be able to lift 40 lbs
Work in a non-climate controlled environment Weld Process-Low Heat Mig-using short-circuit mode with small-diameter wire (0.023 or 0.030) Tig-using thin (1 mm or smaller) sharpened tungsten for low heat spread is the best to produce low heat spread
Tips:
run the thinnest wire possible; angle the heat toward the thicker metal Materials Sheet Metal/thin gauge metals -they will have to do tight fit ups and clamp very small precision parts
