Full Job Description Position Overview:

The Welder is responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining metal structures and components using multiple welding and auto welding techniques. This role requires expertise in working with aluminum, steel, and cast iron, and involves performing a variety of welding and fabrication tasks to meet project specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and project specifications. Welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, brazing, Auto welding and stick welding. Inspect welds for defects, ensuring proper penetration, fusion, and structural integrity. Adhere to safety protocols, wear appropriate protective gear, and maintain a safe work environment at all times. Perform fabrication, finishing, and repair tasks according to project needs and established quality standards. Conduct hub swaps on crankshafts as required. Machine shop work on aluminum pistons and general fabrication per customer order. Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding or a related field. Proficiency in various welding methods and metalworking techniques. Strong manual dexterity and precision, with a keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality welds. Effective problem-solving and time management skills to meet project deadlines. Physical stamina to work in demanding environments, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy materials. Work Environment Work is performed in machine shops or manufacturing facilities, often in noisy and physically demanding conditions. FR and Steel toe boots are required. Must be able to work 40 or more hours per week, including weekends if necessary.

Pay:

$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
