Tyler, TX Pay:
$18.50/hr Remedy Staffing is hiring MIG Welders for a local fabrication shop in Tyler, TX. We're looking for dependable individuals who can produce quality welds while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Schedule Monday•
Thursday:
5:00 AM•3:00
PM Friday:
4:00 AM•12:00 PM Saturday (as needed): 4:00 AM•12:00 PM Job Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on steel components according to production schedules and quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, weld symbols, and production drawings Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently Ensure parts are produced to print and meet dimensional specifications Inspect materials and completed welds for defects, quality, and accuracy Perform visual weld inspections and identify areas requiring rework or repair Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and gauges to verify specifications Grind, clean, and prepare metal surfaces before and after welding as needed Maintain production quotas while ensuring quality workmanship Complete all required production, quality, and safety documentation accurately and on time Report equipment issues, material shortages, or safety concerns to supervisors Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of hazards Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and movement of fabricated parts throughout the facility Requirements Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs while on assignment; up to 75 lbs if hired full-time by client Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Annual vision screening required Must complete safety training and sign employee handbook documentation before start date Steel-toe boots required (all other PPE provided) Apply today for immediate consideration and start your next career opportunity with Remedy Staffing!
