MIG Welder•2nd
Shift Location:
Tyler, TX Pay:
$20.50/hr Remedy Staffing is hiring MIG Welders for a local fabrication shop in Tyler, TX. We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals with welding experience who are committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Schedule Monday•
Thursday:
3:15 PM•1:45
AM Friday:
12:00 PM•6:00 PM Saturday (as needed): 12:00 PM•10:30 PM Job Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on steel components according to production specifications and quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, work orders, and fabrication drawings Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently Produce quality welds that meet customer and company requirements Inspect workpieces and completed welds for defects, accuracy, and conformance to specifications Perform visual weld inspections and identify any necessary repairs or rework Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, gauges, and other measuring tools Clean, grind, and prepare materials before and after welding operations Maintain production goals while ensuring high-quality workmanship Complete production records and required paperwork accurately and on time Follow all safety policies, procedures, and quality guidelines Report equipment malfunctions, material concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Assist with handling, moving, and staging materials and finished products as needed Requirements Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during temporary assignment; up to 75 lbs if hired directly by the client Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Annual vision screening required Must complete safety training and sign safety and employee handbook documentation before start date Steel-toe boots required (all other PPE provided) Join a growing fabrication team and take advantage of this higher-paying 2nd shift opportunity with Remedy Staffing.
