THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION

• Perform all position arc welding on a variety of fabricated products and material
• Receive route cards, prints, and work assignments from supervisor
• Read prints for welding requirements and sets proper amperage for type of material to be welded; cleans and prepares items for welding
• Positions and assembles material in jib, fixtures or welds preassembled units; may do limited set up
• Performs all position welding; selects proper electrode for specified weld
• Uses torch for burning or heating
• Operates automatic, semi-automatic
• Sets up stud welder
• Performs air gouging and maintenance welding
• Chips and cleans welds to apply additional weld passes
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed 2nd shift is 3PM to 1AM Monday to Thursday Overtime on an as needed basis scheduled on Friday and/or Saturday Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of welding experience and/or certification
• Hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes, leather apron, flame resistant jacket, aluminumized sleeves, welders gloves are required
• Must pass background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen.
