Marine Flow is hiring exceptionally skilled pipe welders with marine, industrial, and commercial experience in Hampton Roads and beyond. This position is full-time and a permanent direct hire opportunity. The right individuals will have a minimum of 5 years' experience, with proven craft ability. 6G certifications in GTAW and SMAW are preferred. Experience with GMAW and FCAW is a plus. Candidates must be able to demonstrate ability through our testing procedures. Extensive experience in shipyard and industrial settings is required. Candidates must have the ability to obtain base clearance (DBIDS). This position may require travel.

Requirements:

• Must have 5+ years of pipe welding experience
• Must be able to read blueprints and project specifications to install and maintain piping systems that carry water, steam, chemicals, and fuel
• Marine, industrial, and commercial experience
• Must have your own tools
• Strong communication and computation skills

Job Duties:

• Build and repair naval, industrial, and construction piping systems
• Visit sites to assess potential problems or needs
• Collaborate with project managers, other craft, or engineers
• Available to occasionally travel to different job sites (per diem available for overnight travel)

Working Conditions:

This position will require the occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds and frequent lifting up to 25 pounds. Standing or working 80% of the time. Requires ability to work in confined spaces, kneeling and working while lying on stomach/back, as well as crawling and repetitive movements of arms and hands. Expect environmental exposure to high heat and humidity as well as cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and debris. Salary Range - $32 - $38/hour This position is long-term, direct hire, and full-time.
