Job Description

Oxbo International Corporation is the worldwide leader in specialty harvesters. We design, manufacture, and distribute innovative harvesting equipment and related products for the application, berry, citrus, coffee, field corn, forage, fresh market vegetable, jatropha, olives, processed vegetable, seed, and vineyard markets. We are currently seeking Welders for our Lynden, WA facility to work a 4x10 schedule on our dayshift.
SUMMARY OF WELDER JOB DUTIES
Create finished assemblies by welding together same gauge and multiple gauge materials, sheet/plate metal and structural steel, and differing composite components by utilizing engineering specifications, blueprints, verbal instructions, and shop work packets which include shop routings, work instructions (both written and electronic), and inspection sheets. Welders must be able to set-up and finish the jobs with or without a fixture. Each individual will be responsible for setting up the welders with Oxbo approved settings to provide the correct and highest quality of weld. This job requires each individual to properly prep the substrate prior to weld and clean-up for fit-up and appearance post weld. The successful applicant will have 2 or more years of experience MIG welding hard wire, dual shield/flux core. Responsible for cleaning of own parts Must have good print reading skills and be proficient with a tape measure. A weld skills assessment is required Starting wage rate depends on experience Night shift welders receive an additional shift differential of 8%
WELDER EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
