Qualifications:

Experience with MIG/TIG welding required. WABO or AWS certified or be able to get certified (which the Company will pay). Knowledge on OH Crane & Forklift is a must. Ability to read and understand blue prints.

ABILITY TO WORK ON YOUR OWN OR IN A TEAM.

Ability to deal with stressful situations. Proficient in shop math/problem solving skills. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs., occasionally lift 50lbs. Candidates must have their own tools and transportation. Must have a current Drivers License.

Duties:

Weld mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum according to blue prints. Inspect welded parts against blue prints. Must perform all duties in accordance with OSHA and WISHA. Perform other duties as assigned.

COMMUNICATE TO MANAGEMENT ABOUT MACHINERY AND QUALITY ISSUES AS THEY ARISE.

Preheat and/or cut workpieces using a hand torch (plasma) when required.
