Job Description
Job Title:
Welder/Fitter We're looking for a Welder/Fitter to join our team and help build structural steel components for the construction industry. Most of the work involves welding, fabricating, and fitting I‑beams and other structural pieces in a shop environment. What You'll Do Weld and fabricate structural steel parts, mainly I‑beams Read and follow blueprints to ensure accurate layout and assembly Perform flux‑core (FCAW) welding Fit, assemble, and tack‑weld components according to project specs What You Need Essential Skills Strong welding and fabrication abilities Hands‑on experience with flux‑core welding (FCAW) Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience fitting and working with structural steel Nice to Have Previous experience as a fitter or welder in construction or steel fabrication Familiarity with assembly and tack‑welding processes Why You'll Like Working Here Competitive hourly pay plus swing‑shift differential Plenty of overtime opportunities (up to 60 hours/week) In‑house training program for entry‑level welders Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match Work Environment You'll work in a covered, indoor shop bay — a controlled, weather‑protected space designed for welding and fabrication. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
