Job Title:
Welder Job Description Join our team as a MIG Welder and contribute to our dynamic fabrication environment. This position operates on a first shift schedule with four ten-hour days and opportunities for overtime. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, job-shop setting where projects frequently change, allowing you to engage in a variety of builds. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on a variety of parts and assemblies, primarily using stainless steel. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Perform basic shop math including measurements, tolerances, and material calculations. Inspect finished welds to ensure quality standards are met. Adapt to changing projects and different job requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Essential Skills Certification in MIG welding. Experience with machine setup and MIG welding. Ability to read blueprints and engineered drawings. Basic shop math proficiency. Knowledge of safety procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Trade school welding certification. Experience with TIG welding and fabrication. Ability to work as part of a team. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
