Job Title:
Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled Welder with the ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience using MIG and TIG welding techniques, and be capable of setting up and operating hand and power tools, including metal arc welding equipment. You will perform welding on components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions, working with materials such as aluminum and stainless steel. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions. Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques effectively. Set up and operate hand and power tools, including metal arc welding equipment. Perform welding on components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions. Weld on materials such as aluminum and stainless steel. Essential Skills Experience in blueprint reading and welding. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding. 1-2 years of experience in welding and fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications Open to candidates with entry-level experience from technical schools. Experience in assembly, stainless steel, and hand tool usage. Ability to pass a welding test. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work is conducted in a shop environment that is non-climate controlled. You will be part of a precision sheet-metal manufacturing team that creates custom parts and assemblies for HVAC, transportation, and heavy equipment companies. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6AM to 2:30PM, with occasional shifts on Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lebanon, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
