Job Title:
Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team in fabricating and welding wastewater pumps. The role involves MIG welding on mild steel components and assembling metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on mild steel components for wastewater pump systems. Fabricate and assemble metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding and assembly. Inspect finished welds to ensure structural integrity and adherence to quality standards. Operate fabrication tools such as saws, grinders, and cutting equipment. Essential Skills MIG Welding onMild Steel:
Ability to perform clean, consistent welds with strong structural integrity.Fabrication & Blueprint Reading:
Experience fabricating parts from raw materials, including interpreting measurements and technical drawings.Precision Measurement & Cutting:
Skilled in measuring, cutting, and fitting steel components accurately using hand tools and shop equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications MIG welding experience on mild steel. Fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods. Work Environment The work environment is a non-climate controlled outdoor warehouse, requiring adaptability to varying temperatures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edgewater, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
