Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our team. As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing, fabricating, and welding various components for projects in a Job Shop setting. This role requires a strong foundation in metal fabrication and welding techniques, as well as an attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy machinery such as cranes and forklifts to move materials around the shop.
  • Use press brake machines to shape and bend metal sheets.
  • Build and fabricate metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques and equipment.
  • Utilize proper gauges and devices to inspect projects.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Have the ability to work in a job shop setting and be capable of shifting attention to the job at hand as needed.
Experience:
  • 1+ years of experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field desired.
  • Proven skills in operating equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
  • Experience with saws, press brake machines, iron workers and welding techniques.
  • Familiarity with building and fabricating metal components.
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Flux-Core, MIG, TIG, Fit-up and layout experience needed.
  • Must be able to comprehend Customer drawings and instructions to produce jobs accurately.
  • Must be able to verify that work in progress conforms to specifications.
