Welder/Fitter 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder to join our team on 2nd or 3rd shift. This role involves performing a variety of fitting and welding processes on large weldments, requiring attention to detail, quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Shift:

Monday - Thursday 2:45 PM - 12:45 AM 4-day workweek (4 x 10-hour shifts) with occasional OT on

Fridays Key Responsibilities:

Fit and weld large weldments using GMAW and FCAW processes Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Ensure weld quality meets company and customer specifications Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently Inspect finished work and make necessary adjustments or repairs Maintain a clean and safe work environment Regular and dependable attendance is a requirement of this position Process all necessary documentation and paperwork for completed jobs

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 3 years of welding experience OR completion of a technical school welding program (preferred but not required) Strong proficiency in GMAW and FCAW required Experience working with large weldments preferred Experience reading blueprints, using measuring tools, handheld plasmas and torches required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality required Must currently be authorized to work in the United States. $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
