Follow safety rules and expectations and use safe work practices. Utilize/interpret blueprints/engineering drawings for setup, welding, and inspection of parts to ensure customer specifications are met. Understand layout and planned sequence of operations. Verify conformance of work piece to specifications and quality standards. Prepare surfaces to be welded and set up and assemble parts to be welded. Set up proper equipment for different welding jobs. Able to use conventional and precision measuring instruments. Welder will also perform routine PM's on the equipment and maintain a safe and orderly workplace.Qualifications:
MUST be Safety and Quality conscious MUST be able to be certified toAWS D1.1
welding standard, at a minimum. MUST be able to setup and MIG weld (TIG a PLUS) aluminum. Ability to setup jobs from blueprints Math abilities to solve problems and perform inspection High School Diploma orGED, PLUS 2
