Job Description

- Posted on August 18, 2026 Published By Katie Instefjord Trillium Staffing is currently seeking Welders for a Direct Hire Welder opportunity with a growing heavy fabrication manufacturer in the Sturgeon Bay area. This Welder role is part of a turnkey fabrication team responsible for welding and assembling large steel components used in industrial applications. Welder Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding using metal-cored and flux-cored wires on large steel components
- Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine welding requirements
- Use grinders to clean and prep parts before and after welding
- Operate overhead cranes and jib cranes to position materials
- Follow all ISO and OSHA standards
- Support additional duties as assigned Benefits

- Technical diploma in welding preferred
- Understanding of pre-heat and post-heat weldments is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to use a tape measure and convert measurements into decimals
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
