Standard Working Hours:
Monday - Friday; 6AM - 3:30
PM Locations:
Waunakee, WI Arlington, WI What You'll Be Doing Your days will center on building structural steel components from start to finish. You will read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols to figure out what each piece needs, then lay it out, fit it up, and weld it to spec. Depending on the job, you could be working on structural steel, sheet metal, or pipe, and you will choose the right welding process and settings for the material and joint in front of you. Along the way, you will use a mix of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment like press brakes, saws, drills, and grinders to cut, prep, and finish each piece. You will check your work as you go with tape measures, calipers, squares, and levels, so every weld and every dimension meets code and specification before it leaves your station. You will also run overhead cranes and forklifts to move and position material, and keep your work area clean and organized so the next job starts off right. Safety Comes First Safety is not just a poster on the wall here. It is how we work, and it is a big reason we have been around for 100 years. We expect everyone to follow safety procedures, wear the right PPE, and look out for each other every shift. Room to Grow We like to see people build careers here, not just clock in. As a family owned company, we get to know our people, and we are glad to help you pick up new skills, learn new processes, and take on more responsibility as you are ready for it.
