Starting at $19.00 per hour, based on experience Job Overview Engines, Inc. is looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join our team at our Milton, WV facility. Experience with Flux Core welding is a plus . We are looking for someone who can produce consistent, quality welds, follow job specifications, and work safely and efficiently in an industrial environment.

6:00 AM

PM Friday:

6:00 AM

•2:30

PM Saturday:

6:00 AM

•12:00 PM, as needed Duties Perform MIG welding on steel components Perform Flux Core welding when needed Perform multi-pass welds as required Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions Read and follow blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and job specifications Use tape measures and other basic measuring tools to verify dimensions Inspect completed welds for quality and identify defects or areas requiring rework Perform grinding, cleaning, and weld preparation as needed Follow established welding procedures and job requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE Assist with other production-related duties as needed Qualifications Previous MIG welding experience required Flux Core welding experience is a plus Ability to perform quality welds in multiple positions Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, drawings, and measurements Ability to use a tape measure accurately Experience with grinders and other common welding/shop tools Strong attention to quality and safety Dependable and able to maintain good attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Manufacturing or industrial welding experience is preferred Candidates will be required to complete a weld test as part of the hiring process Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and work in various positions Ability to work around heat, sparks, noise, and flying particles normally associated with welding operations Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation Benefits Engines, Inc.
