Full Time Job Description Twisted Tap Sugar Shack is looking for a hardworking, reliable Woods Manager to join our maple production team. This role is hands-on and takes place primarily in the woods, maintaining and managing sap collection systems while supporting all aspects of the maple syrup season. If you enjoy working outdoors, don't mind tough conditions, and take pride in physical work, this could be a great fit. Responsibilities Maintain and repair maple sap tubing systems Assist with tapping and detapping trees during the season Hang and adjust mainlines and lateral lines Locate and fix leaks in sap lines Cut and remove fallen trees and debris impacting lines Navigate wooded terrain safely and efficiently Support general woods maintenance and maple production operations Requirements Experience working outdoors (forestry, landscaping, agriculture, or similar preferred) Ability to safely operate a chainsaw and other basic equipment Comfortable working in rugged, wooded environments Able to work in winter conditions (cold, snow, uneven terrain) Physically capable of lifting, walking long distances, and working on your feet all day Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with a team Reliable transportation Preferred (Not Required) Mechanical or problem-solving skills What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Unique, hands-on work in Michigan's maple industry Opportunity to grow with a fast-moving, family-run business Work that's active, outdoors, and different every day Schedule Seasonal workload (heaviest during late winter/early spring) Flexible hours depending on weather and sap flow
