Key Qualifications:
Proficient in vascular ultrasound imaging, including venous, arterial, and color Doppler examinations Previous experience in diagnostic and interventional ultrasound (OB/GYN, abdominal, small parts, biopsies) Demonstrated critical thinking and multitasking abilities in unpredictable settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under stress Commitment to ongoing education and professional ethics Familiarity with both paper and electronic documentation Adherence to The Joint Commission and all regulatory standards
Responsibilities:
Operate sonographic equipment and select appropriate technical factors for optimal images Accurately verify patient identity, history, and order appropriateness Deliver comprehensive patient care and address patient concerns throughout procedures Ensure image quality while independently assessing findings Manage daily operations, scheduling, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance Maintain accurate documentation and sterile technique at all times Follow all federal, state, and local guidelines and protocols
