  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marine Electrician & Electronics Technician with >5 years experience in YACHTS to join our team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of recreational & commercial vessels (>40' LOA) to ensure that AC & DC electrical systems and electronics operate at peak performance. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hands-on technical work, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and electronic equipment on YACHTS, including navigation, communication, power distribution, and vessel control systems. Install and maintain products from Garmin, Raymarine, B&G, Simrad, Maretron, Furuno, and other brands. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical components and electronic devices to ensure reliability and safety Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. Requirements Strong knowledge of ABYC Standards (E-11) Proven service technician experience in the marine industry with a strong background in electrical & electronic systems. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for complex electronic systems Solid electrical experience combined with mechanical knowledge of marine or vehicle systems Ability to lift heavy objects safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Knowledge of maintenance procedures for marine vessels.
