Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Marine Repair Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and restoring marine vessels to peak performance. This energetic role offers the chance to work on a variety of marine equipment, ensuring safety, functionality, and longevity. Your expertise will directly contribute to the seamless operation of marine assets, supporting both commercial and recreational maritime activities. Duties Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on marine vessels, including hulls, engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, calipers, and precision measuring instruments to complete tasks with high accuracy. Conduct rigging operations and fabricate sheet metal or other parts as needed for vessel refurbishment or customization. Assist with vehicle maintenance related to marine equipment transport and support heavy lifting tasks using appropriate rigging techniques. Apply electrical experience to troubleshoot wiring systems, install new components, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair statuses clearly and offering maintenance advice for vessel longevity. Experience Proven service technician experience in marine or heavy machinery repair environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly, fabrication, welding, and sheet metal work. Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Experience working with military-grade equipment or in military settings is a plus due to the high standards of durability and precision required. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices applicable to marine transport vehicles is preferred. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, soldering equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to ensure safe and effective repairs. Excellent customer service skills combined with sales aptitude to recommend maintenance solutions confidently.
