Marketing Assistant/Office Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Part Time Marketing Assistant/Weekend Marina Office Assistant to join our innovative marketing team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of marketing strategies that elevate brand visibility and drive engagement across multiple channels. Duties Assist in creating and managing content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging. Working Saturday & Sundays in the Marina Office during peak season, greeting customers, recieving payments, answering phones, processing store sales Some of the marketing work can possibly be completed remotely but Saturday & Sundays 9 am to 4pm during peak season will be required. Support the development of digital marketing campaigns utilizing tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and email marketing platforms. Conduct keyword research and optimize website content using SEO tools to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic. Help manage content management systems like WordPress and other platforms to update website pages and landing sites regularly. Collaborate with design teams to produce engaging graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and other graphic design tools. Monitor campaign performance through Google Analytics, SEM (Search Engine Marketing), and analytics dashboards to identify opportunities for conversion optimization. Contribute to marketing automation efforts by assisting with email marketing campaigns, lead nurturing workflows, and performance marketing initiatives. Skills Proficiency with SEO tools, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Google Ads for campaign tracking and optimization. Strong knowledge of social media management strategies including Facebook Advertising and content creation best practices. Experience with website development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL is a plus for technical content updates. Skilled in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite for visual content creation. Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress or similar platforms for website updates. Ability to perform keyword research and apply SEO techniques to enhance online visibility. Excellent copywriting skills for creating compelling content tailored for different digital channels. Understanding of digital marketing concepts such as SEM, performance marketing, B2B marketing, e-commerce strategies, and analytics-driven decision making. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
