  • Marketing Strategy & Planning ・Develop and execute marketing strategies for promotional and IP collaboration initiatives aligned with business and brand objectives.
・Define target audiences, key messages, and channel strategies (in-store, digital, social, etc.). ・Build and manage annual and quarterly marketing calendars and promotional roadmaps. Prioritize overlapping initiatives to maximize impact and resource efficiency.
  • IP Collaboration & Promotion Planning ・Lead marketing planning for licensed IP collaboration campaigns. ・Provide strategic recommendations on IP selection based on brand fit, target relevance, and customer appeal. ・Own promotional concepts, creative direction, messaging, and customer experience design. ・Manage licensor approval processes from a marketing and branding perspective.
  • Cross-Functional Marketing Alignment ・Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, Store Teams, IT, Logistics, Legal, and Finance to align scope, timing, and execution requirements.
・Translate marketing plans into clear, actionable guidelines for store-level execution. ・Lead cross-functional meetings, progress reviews, and alignment checkpoints. ・Communicate changes in scope or timing clearly and promptly, assessing downstream impacts.
  • Campaign Execution Management ・Oversee execution of in-store promotions, marketing materials, and digital campaigns to ensure consistency with intended messaging. ・Monitor store-level execution quality and identify improvement opportunities. ・Ensure merchandise, incentives, and promotional mechanics align with marketing objectives.
  • Performance Measurement & Optimization ・Define KPIs for promotions and collaboration campaigns, including sales, traffic, and engagement metrics. ・Analyze post-campaign performance and document insights, successes, and improvement areas. ・Use data-driven insights to refine future campaigns and inform long-term marketing strategy.
  • Vendor & Licensor Relationship Management ・Manage relationships with agencies, creative vendors, and licensors to ensure marketing quality and timeline adherence.
・Lead professional-level marketing communications and negotiations with Japanese licensors in both Japanese and English. ・Ensure compliance with licensor approvals, brand guidelines, and IP usage requirements. Qualifications ■Required Skills & Qualifications ・5+ years of management experience in procurement, operations, or a related field. ・Strong analytical skills with experience in sales analysis, budgeting, and reporting. ・Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, data modeling). ・Demonstrated experience managing personnel, including scheduling, performance reviews, and team development. ・Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities. ・Fluent in Japanese and English, both verbal and written, with the ability to conduct professional communications and negotiations. ・Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, flexible mindset. ・Experience working cross-functionally with senior leadership and multiple departments. ・Understanding of corporate compliance and auditing requirements. ■Preferred Skills & Qualifications ・Experience in the amusement, retail, or entertainment sectors. ・Familiarity with COGS tracking, vendor management systems, and inventory control platforms. ・Knowledge of pop culture, anime, and entertainment merchandise trends. ・Experience leading projects across multiple stakeholders or locations. ・Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, taxation etc. to practical situations. ・MS Office Suite; specifically, ability to conduct calculations and compile reports on Microsoft Excel. ・Ability to interpret and present a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to read schematics and blueprints. Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and discretion.
Pay:
$76,960.00 - $91,520.00 per year
