Job Description

Job Function Assists the Marketing Director to develop and execute the comprehensive marketing and communication strategy to support the Bank's brand. Job Responsibilities Coordinates with Marketing Director to develop and implement the Bank's brand strategy. Assists Marketing Director and Bank's approved vendors on graphic design and strategic initiatives by coordinating the production of marketing and communication materials; including developing content and designing marketed printed and digital materials, videos and all advertising. Ensures marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, mediums and content. Gains approval of all creative materials to ensure materials are in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and guidelines. Coordinates the traffic of creative assets to media vendors. Assists in market research and analysis of marketing campaigns and offers suggestions. Manages and maintains the donation and sponsorship requests across the Banks footprint of items submitted through StarNet. Ensures any material, promotional items or logo request for a sponsorship or donation vendor are delivered in timely manner and logo is used appropriately with Bank's brand, all applicable laws, regulations and policies. Assists in the coordination of internal and external events as needed (i.e. groundbreaking celebrations, grand openings, community events, board retreats etc.). Assists and implement the Banks social media strategy to increase brand awareness and consistently build a following while planning and obtaining approval for all social media posts. Coordinates with Marketing Director on content for the website and intranet to ensure information is updated on a regular basis to remain current and accurate with any new campaigns or initiatives (includes Rate Change Management.) Assists with writing, editing and distributing email communications to employees and customers Assists in maintaining inventory control of all promotional and specialty items for the Bank Coordinates with approved vendors on the creation and ordering of promotional items for the Bank Ensures that own work, as well the financial institution, follows applicable regulations directly or through subordinates.

All other duties as assigned. Education and Related Experience Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required. 1-3 years of marketing/communications experience required (3+ years in banking preferred)Skills and Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail in writing, editing and proofreading materials.

Decision-making skills and sensitivity when dealing with confidential information.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Adobe Illustrator.

Must possess knowledge of computers and computer operations MS Office software. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Must possess good organizational skills.

Must possess ability to perform detailed tasks with accuracy.

Must possess decision making skills.

Must possess knowledge of standard office equipment including computer, fax machine, scanner and copy machine.

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.

Ability to operate a keyboard if required performing the essential job functions.

Ability to read and interpret a document.

Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.

Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 50 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department an undue hardship then the employee must be accommodated; hence, omitting lifting as a physical requirement.
