Olive Crest is dedicated to preventing child abuse by strengthening, equipping, and restoring children and families in crisis… One Life at a Time.® Overview Join our team to develop relationships and fundraise to Strengthen Children and Families. Secure funding to advance the mission of prevention in partnership with local churches. Associate Development Director Responsible for building and growing relationships with individual donors, businesses, and community partners to support Olive Crest's mission. This role manages a portfolio of donors, cultivates new funding opportunities, coordinates corporate sponsorships and fundraising efforts, and serves as a visible ambassador in the community.
Job Responsibilities:
Build and strengthen relationships with individual, business, and community donors through ongoing engagement, stewardship, and personalized communication. Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts and corporate partnerships to support Olive Crest's mission and fundraising goals. Represent Olive Crest at community, chamber, networking, church, and business events to increase awareness and develop new donor and partnership opportunities. Secure sponsorships, auction items, and community support for fundraising events while collaborating with volunteer committees and internal teams. Work closely with leadership, trustees, volunteers, and community partners to expand donor engagement and organizational impact. Maintain accurate donor records and engagement activities within Raiser's Edge. Seek speaking opportunities, strategic partnerships, and funding opportunities that advance Olive Crest's mission and growth. Provide exceptional donor stewardship, customer service, and relationship management while meeting fundraising objectives and deadlines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 3+ years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, donor relations, business development, or community engagement. Proven success securing major gifts, sponsorships, or charitable contributions. Strong networking skills and familiarity with the Inland Empire community preferred. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
