A Community Relations Manager works for a business or organization to develop strategies and programs that represent the business favorably and which create a positive relationship with its community and customers. Manages community relations programs that are in alignment with business strategies. May direct or administer the charitable contributions, grants and volunteer programs.
Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Magnolia Grace Senior Care is seeking a polished, intelligent, highly organized, and relationship-driven Veterans Relations Specialist . This is a professional business development and community relations position that combines office responsibilities with active community engagement. The right candidate must be equally comfortable preparing for a presentation in the office, making professional outreach calls, organizing an event, attending a Chamber of Commerce meeting, or introducing Magnolia Grace Senior Care to a new community partner. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain professional relationships throughout the veteran and business communities Develop relationships with veteran organizations, community organizations, Chambers of Commerce, healthcare professionals, businesses, and referral partners Make professional outreach and follow-up calls to prospective community and referral partners Research organizations, events, businesses, and new opportunities for community engagement Help develop outreach strategies and identify new opportunities to connect with veterans and their families Work closely with our Marketing Specialist to coordinate outreach campaigns, events, presentations, and community initiatives Help plan and organize veteran events, educational presentations, networking opportunities, and community activities Create professional PowerPoint presentations and confidently present information to groups Attend networking events, Chamber meetings, veteran events, business meetings, and community functions Maintain organized records of contacts, meetings, follow-ups, events, and referral activity Use Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, email, CRM systems, calendars, and other business technology efficiently Follow up consistently with professional contacts and build long-term relationships Represent Magnolia Grace Senior Care with professionalism in appearance, communication, preparation, and conduct Who We Are Looking For This position requires more than someone who simply enjoys talking to people.
