Job Description

HillsDales is seeking a passionate and organized Community Engagement Specialist to help advance our mission through fundraising, community outreach, volunteer engagement, and communications. In this role, you will support fundraising campaigns, donor relations, special events, volunteer coordination, social media, and marketing initiatives that increase awareness and support for our organization. Key Responsibilities Assist with fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and special events Maintain donor records and track contributions in the database Coordinate volunteer recruitment, orientation, and recognition Manage social media scheduling and community engagement activities Assist with newsletters, marketing materials, website updates, and publications Support grant research and writing efforts Build relationships with community organizations, businesses, and donors Represent HillsDales at community events and presentations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Experience with databases, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of social media, marketing, or fundraising practices preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed Why Join HillsDales?
